Moonshine Terms of Service
When placing an order:
Our service is strictly for over 18’s only. Customers who are 21 years of age or younger MUST have a Passport, Driving Licence or approved Proof of Age card and provide the relevant details to the operator.
You must provide us with a current contact telephone number. We do not take calls from ‘unknown’ or ‘withheld’ telephone numbers. In this instance, call handlers will always ask the caller to call back displaying their contact telephone number.
You must provide us with the full delivery address including the correct postcode.
Our minimum delivery order value is £15.00. This minimum applies to alcohol and excludes cigarettes and any other sundry items. These extra items will only be delivered with alcohol orders. The minimum order value also excludes any applicable delivery charges.
We reserve the right to refuse service should we suspect the customer to be underage, over inebriated or for any other reason. This is entirely at our operators’ discretion.
Verbal abuse and threats will not be tolerated. In this case the sale will be refused, the call terminated and the telephone number and address will no longer be eligible for deliveries.
If you are unable to comply with all of the above requirements, service will be refused.
When receiving an order:
Our service is strictly for over 18’s only. If you are or appear to be 21 years of age or younger our drivers will ask you for suitable identification and this will be recorded. Please co-operate with this and do not be offended. This is a legal requirement.
Appropriate forms of identification are Passports, Driving Licences and approved Proof of Age cards which display the ‘PASS’ hologram.
The driver reserves the right to refuse service should suitable identification not be provided or should he suspect said identification to be counterfeit.
The driver reserves the right to refuse service should the customer become abusive or appear to be over inebriated, or for any other reason. This is entirely at our drivers’ discretion.
Customers must be present at the property to which the delivery is being made and provide their surname and age. These details must match those relating to the order. For customers paying by card, it is the Cardholder who must provide these details.
It is illegal to purchase alcohol or cigarettes on behalf of minors. If we suspect alcohol or cigarettes will be passed to under 18’s, the sale will be refused and the Police will be informed. Prosecution may follow.
Verbal and physical abuse or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated.
If you are deemed to be abusive or violent in any way your details will be recorded and, if necessary, passed on to the Police and the given address (including any associated telephone numbers) will no longer be eligible for deliveries.
If the above conditions cannot be satisfied, the driver is instructed to drive away and your order will be cancelled.
Moonshine asks that you enjoy your drinks responsibly and respect your neighbours when accepting your delivery by keeping noise to a minimum.
Moonshine operates a strict Challenge 21 policy. Please do not be offended if you are asked to prove your age.
